Power

OMNIIIVERSE ARCHIVE // RESTRICTED RESEARCH

POWER SYSTEMS

Every gift has a source. Every source has a cost.

Power in the OMNIIIVERSE takes many forms: inherited, awakened, learned, or granted. The Archive studies how abilities emerge, what they can do, and what happens when their limits are pushed.

01 // THE NATURE OF POWER

Ability is not the same as mastery.

An ability may appear suddenly, develop over time, or remain dormant for years. Possessing power does not guarantee control. Training, instinct, experience, and personal cost can matter as much as raw strength.

“The gift is only the beginning. What you become with it is the real question.”

02 // CLASSIFICATION

A working index of abilities

These categories describe what an ability does—not who would win in a fight.

Elemental

Control or generation of forces such as fire, ice, lightning, wind, or earth.

Physical

Enhanced strength, speed, endurance, senses, or resilience.

Mental & Perceptive

Abilities involving thought, awareness, memory, influence, or perception.

Energy & Matter

Creation, conversion, shaping, or disruption of energy and physical substance.

Mystic & Cosmic

Phenomena linked to ancient forces, celestial beings, or realities not yet understood.

Hybrid & Unknown

Abilities that cross categories, change over time, or resist current classification.

03 // ORIGIN & AWAKENING

Where power begins

The Archive has identified several recurring patterns, though no single origin explains every powered individual.

Inherited

Traits or abilities passed through a bloodline, sometimes appearing in altered forms.

Awakened

Dormant potential revealed by stress, circumstance, growth, or an unknown trigger.

Granted or Acquired

Power gained through an outside force, pact, technology, transformation, or intervention.

04 // LIMITS & CONSEQUENCES

Power always leaves a trace.

An ability’s limits are as important as its potential. Use, environment, focus, physical condition, and personal cost may shape what a person can safely do. Overextension can leave consequences long after the power fades.

Capacity

How much power can be produced or sustained?

Control

How precisely can the ability be directed?

Cost

What is spent, risked, or changed by using it?

05 // ARCHIVE INDEX

The questions that remain

  • Can two abilities share a source without sharing the same limits?
  • What separates a natural gift from power granted by an outside force?
  • Can an ability evolve—and what triggers that change?
  • Are some powers connected to the deeper mysteries of creation?

The system is still unfolding.

New classifications will be added as the Archive learns more about the powers shaping the OMNIIIVERSE.
